Virtually the first thing we did was have a wander around the back garden. Above is how it looked this time last year.
This is how it looks at the moment. Now it is full of plants and has a great wildlife pond in which the dragonflies oviposit.
I was impressed with so many of the plants that there will be quite a few plant photos over the next couple of weeks. As a starter here is one of the beautiful Calla Lilies, Sunflowers and a Shirley Poppy.
I brought some plants down with me and amongst these was some Bogbean and with these were four Smooth Newts to add to the few that came down in the Spring.
