Exeter Cathedral - Roofs


The bosses in the roof of the nave inspire people to look up but I wonder how many folk notice the other roofs in the cathedral,  This is the Lady Chapel Roof

  1. I admit I never had a strong grip on the Queen's english, but here in south Georgia we call these ceilings.
    Beautiful, nontheless.

  2. Over here vwe tend to take of ceilings in houses but roofs in very tall buildings like cathedrals.
